Two days ago I received news from an Orthopedic Specialist that my 11 and half year old, yellow lab, Angel, had 2 types of cancer. Not only does she have the worst kind of cancer that a canine can get, but it is not treatable. The only thing that the doctor could offer was 2 different kinds of pain medications. I am devastated and feel totally helpless. This was the very last thing I expected the doctor to say. I was told she could have weeks or maybe a few months – and if she lasted until Christmas that would be a bonus. We have been through so much together and the thought of losing her so quickly is unimaginable. Any suggestions on how I can improve her quality of life? My friend and i will begin Reiki treatments on her this week. Thanks so much!
