Register Now for the Paws 4 A Cure Walk on May 15 in MA

Whether your life has been touched by canine cancer, or just touched by a relationship with a pet, you’re invited to register now for the 4th annual Paws 4 A Cure Walk on Sunday, May 15 in Wakefield, MA. Proceeds from this walk will provide financial assistance for pet guardians who cannot afford the lifesaving medical treatments that their dogs and cats need.

Paws 4 A Cure LogoPaws 4 a Cure is a cause near and dear to my heart as it was founded by my friend Keri Goldman in memory of her dog Nikko, who bravely battled cancer. Paws 4 A Cure now works to help other dogs with cancer and other serious illnesses as well as cats – to help other pet parents have more precious time with their furkids.

Georgia’s Legacy is very proud to support Paws 4 A Cure and asks for your help in making this year’s walk a HUGE success so more pets can be saved.

There are 3 easy ways you can help:

  1. If you live in the Boston area, sign up to walk with Team Georgia’s Legacy on May 15th and invite your friends to participate in the event as well. It’s a great event for dog lovers and their families. The Walk will take place at Lake Quannapowitt in Wakefield, Massachusetts at 1:00 PM (rain or shine). The route at Lake Quannapowitt is approximately 3 miles. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
  2. Sign up to be part of our Satellite Team. What does that mean? Register as a walker even if you can’t come to MA for the event and plan to walk that way in your own hometown. Gather your other dog loving friends to join you and help promote canine cancer awareness in your own neighborhood. If you do register as a satellite team member, please email Kerry@fightcaninecancer.com so we can properly recognize you on our website and Facebook page. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.
  3. Sponsor Team Georgia’s Legacy by making a donation of any size in support of our team. 100% of donations will directly help animals in need, so every dollar makes a difference. CLICK HERE TO BECOME A SPONSOR.

And, if you own a business, you can also support the Walk by registering as a vendor for the event – display your products or services and get the word out to other pet owners about the great work you’re doing. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER AS A VENDOR.

Please help us make this year’s Paws 4 A Cure walk the most successful one ever! We’re counting on your support! For questions about joining Team Georgia’s Legacy, email Kerry@fightcaninecancer.com.

Several friends would like to join this walk and are hoping it’s not too late. Have not decided whether to drive to Wakefield or to do the walk here in Lowell.

What arrangements do we need to make. Can we register as a team?

That would be great Prudence!! Check out the http://www.Paws4acure.org website and you can register in advance. Hopefully you can join us in Wakefield as it is going to be lots of fun and there will be some activities in addition to a ton of other dog lovers. But if you can’t make it we still appreciate your support! It may be too late to register as a team, but you are always welcome to join Team Georgia’s Legacy if you like!
